FOLSOM PRISON BLUES MUG

This cup is made from food grade stainless steel. The material is particularly resistant and durable. The metal cup holds approx. 400 ml and is decorated with a laser engraving. The shape is based on tin cups that were once used by inmates in prisons. To ensure that the cups could not be used as weapons in the dining room or in the cells, metal was the safest choice - because porcelain or ceramic could be broken. In addition to being used as drinking or shaving cups, the cups were also popular during riots: they were banged against the bars while shouting and cursing to let off a lot of steam.
